There is training tomorrow on the 30th of July, 8pm at Bukit Batok CSC, Westwood Bowl.
SIM was declared Overall Champions at the recent 3rd UiTM International Sports Festival 2008!! We blazed the lanes at Pin Junction over the 3-day competition, and swept home 3 Golds! It was no individual effort as we pushed as a team and brought home the glory.
After a slow start on the Day 1 of Singles, SIM bounced back in style. Jaime and Ian clinched Doubles Gold, with Ian perfecting his first game. SIM also struck Gold on Day 3 for Team event as the quartet of Gerald, Ian, Jeong and Jaime exhibited a brilliant display of bowling. In the All Events, Ian's fine form took him to top spot and added one more Gold to our tally. Jaime eventually ascended the ladder and reached the Masters Final, but was unable to overcome an excellent 500 series over 2 games posted by his Malaysian opponent. Still an effort that deserves a standing ovation.
It was fine showing by our bowlers at Malaysia, and we showed many that we mean serious business. Let's maintain this spirit and take it to SUNIG where we face totally different lanes and opponents. Also wanna thank the ladies for coming along to support us. Congrats to all once again!
