NTU BOWLING INVITATIONAL 09/10
13th March 2010, Bukit Batok CSC, Westwood Bowl
09hrs – Teams check-in and registration
1000hrs – Roll-off for Doubles Event
1300hrs – Lunch Break/ Re-oiling
1400hrs – Roll-off for Quartet Team Event
1700hrs – Prize Presentation
1. Format of Play:
Doubles
Each bowler will bowl a 4-games series and the pair with the highest total pinfall will win the champion award for the event
Team Quartet
Each team member will bowl a 4-game series and the team with the highest total pinfall will win the champion award for the event.
All Events Singles
The bowler with the highest total pinfall of both events will win the champion award for the Singles event.
2. Lane Shift:
Please note that there will be a lane shift after every 2 games. Teams will do a lane shift after every 2 games block in the Left-Left, Right-Right direction. There will be no lane draw after the doubles event.
For Eg. Team A starts on Lane 9. After the first two games of the Doubles event, they will move to Lane 7 where they will complete the last two games of the Doubles Event. Team A will then start the Quartet event on Lane 5, moving on to Lane 3 after the completion of the first block of two games.
3. Tie Breaker Procedure
In an event of a tie on the total scratch scores, the bowler with the least difference between his/her highest and lowest games shall be declared the winner.
4. Game fees and awards
The game fees for the entire invitational will be $200 per team of 4. All awards will be given in cash and medals/trophies.
